Introduction

ACMR is the process of identifying your skill gaps, and developing and honing these skills. It is important because your skills determine your ability to execute your plans with success.

Imagine a carpenter trying to build a house. He has the raw materials but lacks good woodworking tools. He has, however, a flimsy hammer and a small screwdriver. Without the right tools like a hand saw, he can’t turn these raw materials into house-building pieces.

It’s the same with goal achievement. In goal achievement, your skills are your tools. The house is your goal. Just as you need the right tools to build a house, you need the right skills to build your goal. Without the right skills, you will only frustrate yourself, waste your time, and spend a lot of time dealing with rudimentary issues caused by the lack of knowledge or lack of skills, as opposed to progressing in your goal. While difficulty and struggle are part and parcel of any goal pursuit, without the right skills, you find yourself struggling more than necessary. Worse still, this struggle is unconstructive and doesn’t help you move forward.

ACMR provides self-employment skills/vocational, paramedical, nursing, and healthcare courses for students with an introductory knowledge and understanding of self-employment and requirements for success.

ACMR offers vocational/skill training courses under Skill for Education and Employability for Youth India (SEE for Youth India), established under Article 29 & 30(1) of the Constitution of India and incorporated under the legislation of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.

Eligibility

The following applicants are eligible to apply:

Any educational/training institute fulfilling any of the following criteria:

• Training institutes set up by Companies/Proprietorship
• Institutes owned/promoted by Companies/Proprietorship
• Institutes managed/run by Companies/Proprietorship
• Company/Firm/Society/Trust
• An organization providing training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, for at least one year from the date of submission of the application in their own or rented premises
• An organization registered in India, conducting business in the domain of skill development & training, having a Permanent Income Tax Account Number (PAN), Service Tax Registration Number, and audited accounts of statements for at least one year

Process of Affiliation

All accredited Training Centers are deemed for the grant of affiliation. Once a Training Center is accredited for certain job roles, it can submit an online application for affiliation.

Affiliation requests are completed under the following conditions:

• Affiliation is granted on the basis of job roles. Therefore, a Training Center must apply for affiliation only for accredited job roles.
• The Training Center must pay an affiliation fee for each job role.
• The Training Center is advised to apply for affiliation as soon as it gets accredited. However, it is provided a maximum of six months to seek affiliation. If six months have elapsed since the accreditation date, the Training Center must re-accredit itself before applying for affiliation.
• The online affiliation request is forwarded to the ACMR accreditation board, which reviews the request, accreditation report, and payment confirmation. Upon review, ACMR awards the Affiliation Certificate.
